Boho Shell Vintage Necklace

This is a vintage necklace with a diamond-shaped polished piece of shell as a pendant. I'm not sure what kind of shell it is -- it doesn't appear to be abalone. It is mostly white with a very subtle shading of goldish tan, more on the reverse side. It is approximately 1 mm thick and measures 2 inches by 1.5 inch. It is strung on a white cord and interestingly enough, the "shell" pieces spaced along the cord are not shells, but plastic, formed to look like shells. Additionally, there is a swirly white lucite bead at the top of the shell. It has a silver tone clasp with a 3-inch extender chain. It's in excellent condition with little to no signs of vintage wear.

Overall, the necklace measures 19 inches including the 3-inch extender. A fun addition to your vintage costume jewelry collection.
